What this means
If someone contacts you claiming to be from a company you are expecting a refund from, and asks you to
- download the app to receive your refund
- send money
- share your password, PIN, or login information
- Link your debit card for a refund
- move money to another account for a "refund."

LemFi does not:
- ask for payments to process refunds
- issue refunds for 3rd parties or other companies
- request sensitive information over phone, email, or messages
What you should do
If you receive a suspicious message or call:
- Do not share any personal or financial information
- Do not share your password or your transaction PIN
- Contact the vendor or merchant directly via their website or other official channels.
- Do not send any money
- Stop communicating with the person immediately
- Contact LemFi through our supported channels
What to expect
If LemFi needs to contact you:
- It will usually be in response to a request you made
- Communication will happen through our official channels.
Refunds (if applicable) are processed directly to your LemFi wallet or the personal originated account, depending on the type of transaction โ you will not be asked to take action outside the app.
