Protecting Yourself From APP Fraud

To enable you to remain secure from APP fraud, please ensure the points below:

• Conduct basic checks while sending money to a recipient, in order to ensure s/he is the intended receiver
• If you purchased goods and desire to make payment for them, confirm the legitimacy of the seller and that his/her account details are correct
• Fraudsters can pose as your bank or loved ones; be cautious as your bank will never tell you to move your money to another account
• If you receive a message from a loved one where s/he is giving you new bank/account details, please call them first to confirm these are legitimate
