If your transfer doesn’t go through, we send the money back to the debit card or bank account you paid with.
What this means
If you signed up in Europe or Australia, you pay for each transfer with your linked debit card or bank account, where available. You don’t hold a balance in the LemFi app, so any refund goes back to the account you paid from. It happens automatically, so you don’t need to request it.
What you should do
- Open the LemFi app and tap Transactions
- Choose the transfer and check its status
- Note whether you paid by debit card or bank account so you know when to expect your refund
What to expect
How long your refund takes depends on how you paid:
- Debit card: usually 3 to 5 business days
- Bank account: usually 1 to 2 business days
Your bank may show the refund as pending before it reaches your account.
Next steps
If your refund hasn’t arrived after the time shown above, check with your bank first. If it still hasn’t arrived, contact support in the app.
