A session ID is a reference number for a completed transfer to a bank in Nigeria. It shows the money has been sent. Your recipient’s bank can use it to find the payment.
You can ask for a session ID for any completed transfer to Nigeria.
What you should do
- Open the LemFi app and tap Transactions
- Choose the transfer and check it shows as successful
- Contact support in the app and ask for the session ID. Have your transaction reference number ready
- Send the session ID to your recipient
- Ask your recipient to give it to their bank
What to expect
Your recipient’s bank can use the session ID to trace the payment and add it to their account.
