Transfers to US bank accounts reach the recipient within 1 to 2 business days after being marked as successful on the app.
What this means
Once your transfer is complete, the recipient’s bank needs time to add the money to their account. In the US, this usually takes 1 to 2 business days. US banks don’t process payments on weekends or on US public holidays.
What you should do
- Check your recipient’s bank details before you confirm
- If the money is needed by a certain date, send it a few days early, especially before a weekend or US public holiday
What to expect
Your transfer shows as complete in the app once we’ve sent it. The money then usually reaches your recipient’s account within 1 to 2 business days.
Next steps
If the money hasn’t arrived after 2 business days, ask your recipient to check with their bank first. If it still hasn’t arrived, contact support in the app.
