We partner with Equifax to provide your credit score and credit report information. Checking your credit score or signing up for Credit Monitor will not affect your credit score. Viewing your score is a soft search, which is not visible to lenders. Your credit score is updated once a month when Equifax provides new data. We will notify you when your latest score is ready.
Different credit bureaus use different scoring models, so your score may vary across providers. Credit Monitor shows you Equifax’s view of your credit profile.
Important to know
There is a difference between a credit score and a credit report:
- Your credit score is a number created by Equifax. The score is calculated using information from your credit report and any details you provide in an application. It represents how likely you are to manage your repayments.
- Your credit report contains the detailed information behind the score – such as your accounts, repayment history, and searches.
Credit Monitor gives you visibility of both.
