If your transfer fails, don’t worry — your money is safe. Sometimes transfers fail due to different factors.
Why transfers fail
Such failures can happen due to:
- The transfer is being initiated outside local banking hours
- The transfer is being sent during a public holiday, weekend, or bank holiday
- Your recipient account has limitations
- Your recipient bank or our payment partner is experiencing a temporary downtime
What happens next
If a transaction is unsuccessful, you'll receive a refund that's automatically returned to your wallet. However, if you signed up from a European country, the money will be returned to the source account.
How long do refunds take
Refunds are usually processed:
- Instantly to your LemFi wallet,
- 3–5 business days, to your debit card
- 1–2 business days to your bank account
What you can do after your transfer fails
Please verify your beneficiary details and account limits, then try the transfer again.
