How do I add money from the UK?

Adding money from the UK is simple, and there are several ways to do it.

What this means

You can fund your account with debit cards, instant bank transfer, virtual funding, and Apple Pay or Google Pay.

What you should do

Tap the “Accounts” card in the app, select your GBP wallet, and choose a payment method.

By debit card

1. Enter the amount you want to deposit and tap “Continue”.
2. Enter your card details (card number, expiry date, and CVV).
3. Follow the prompts to add the funds.
4. Authorise the transaction with your bank so the payment can complete.

By virtual funding (bank transfer)

1. Tap “Regular bank transfer” to see your virtual account details. You can also click on the “Account Details” button. 
2. Send funds from your UK bank to those details.

This method only works with a UK bank account registered in your own name. LemFi doesn’t accept third-party payments to your virtual account.

By Apple Pay or Google Pay

1. Select Apple Pay (iOS) or Google Pay (Android).
2. Enter the amount, tap “Continue”, and follow the prompts.
3. Authorise the transaction with your bank to avoid interruptions.

What to expect

Successful debit card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay payments are usually credited instantly. A regular bank transfer to your virtual account may take up to 24 hours to reflect.
