Add money from the UK

Adding money from the UK is simple, and we support multiple payment methods.
 

What this means

You can fund your account using payment methods available in the UK, such as debit cards, instant bank transfer, virtual funding, and Apple Pay or Google Pay.
 

What you should do

Go to "Add money" in the app and select any payment method of your choice.

For the “Debit card” method

• Enter the amount you wish to deposit, then click "Continue."
• Enter your card information (card number, expiration date, and CVV)
• Follow the prompt to add desired funds successfully
• Kindly ensure you authorize this transaction from your bank so that the process can be completed.

For the “instant bank transfer” method

• Click "Verify your account."
• Follow the prompt
• You will be redirected to the TrueLayer page
• Select your preferred bank account and follow the prompt
• A confirmation would be sent to your bank app for your authorization
• Proceed to fund your wallet with your desired amount

For the “virtual funding” method

• Click on "Regular bank transfer," and your virtual account details will be displayed
• Send funds from your UK bank to the displayed details, and it will be deposited into your GBP wallet shortly after.

This funding method is only permitted with a UK bank registered in your name, as we do not support 3rd party payments to your virtual account.
 

For the “Apple Pay, or Google Pay” method

• Select "Google Pay” (for Android) OR Apple Pay (on iOS)
• Enter the desired amount, click “Continue,” and proceed with the process.
• Please ensure you authorize the transaction with your bank to avoid any interruptions during the process.

What to expect

• Debit card, virtual funding, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Instant bank transfer payments are instant
• Other payments, like funding from your UK bank to LemFi’s account, may take up to 24 hours
