This means you request money via the mobile money option from your contacts in Kenya.
What you should do
Open the app and select "Add money” under the KES wallet
- Select "Add with mobile money."
- Input the amount that you want to add
- Add a new recipient or search from your enabled contacts
- Fill all required fields correctly (first and last names, mobile money operator, and phone number)
- Review details and send a payment request
- A prompt will be sent to the phone number to authorize payment with PIN
- Once payment is authorized, the money will be deposited into your KES wallet, and you will receive a notification
- Ensure that the mobile money phone number is active and turned on so that the prompt can be delivered successfully.
