Turn on the LemFi Cash toggle when you send money abroad. Your recipient gets more, and you pay the same.
What this means
You can use LemFi Cash if you signed up in the UK, the US, Canada, Europe, or Australia. It works on international transfers sent from your home currency, such as a GBP transfer to Nigeria. It doesn’t work on transfers in the same currency, such as GBP to GBP.
The boost is worked out using the live exchange rate for your recipient’s currency.
What you should do
- Start a transfer to another country in your home currency
- On the screen where you enter the minimum qualifying amount, turn on the LemFi Cash toggle on the page
- Check the boost shown on that screen
- Check the boost again on the summary screen before you confirm
What to expect
If you have LemFi Cash from more than one source, we use the amount closest to its expiry date first.
