The payment methods you can use to fund your account depend on where you are. LemFi doesn’t accept credit cards.
What this means
Available payment methods by country:
- United Kingdom: debit card, instant bank transfer, virtual funding, Apple Pay, Google Pay
- United States: debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay
- Canada: Interac, Apple Pay, Google Pay
- Nigeria: bank transfer
- Kenya: mobile money
- Europe: directly from your personal bank account, debit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay
You can also send money to other LemFi users (peer-to-peer) using the recipient’s registered phone number, at no charge.
What you should do
Tap “Accounts” or start a transfer in the app to see the payment methods available for your account and destination.
What to expect
You’ll only see the payment methods supported for your account and transfer. Some methods are instant; others may take longer to process. Transfers are for individual senders only and don’t support business accounts.
